About Samantha
Sam's strength in interior design lies in her exceptional ability to build trusting relationships with clients. These connections become the cornerstone for developing cohesive, aesthetically pleasing project concepts. Her keen spatial awareness and talent for thinking multi-dimensionally enable her to craft sophisticated interior details with ease.
A proponent of duality in design, Sam’s approach blends various elements into a harmonious whole, ensuring they coexist without clashing. This technique results in interiors that are not just visually aesthetic, but timeless.
Blended Backgrounds
a shared history
Both Sam and Lisa began their design journey at Mount Royal University, where they completed their Bachelors of Applied Interior Design. The pair achieved their NCIDQ certifications and further honed their skills in high-end residential design at the industry’s esteemed Cridland Associates. With this rich shared background, Sam and Lisa co-founded Smiddy Stegman in 2018, bringing their unique vision and expertise to the forefront of luxury interiors.
